Sightseeing Tours

See the sights on a tour from the comfort of our maxi cab

There’s simply no better way to see the sights on a tour in a spacious maxi cab from Maxi Cab Melbourne Airport. Melbourne has a host of places to visit, from our beautiful Botanic Gardens to the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne Zoo, and Melbourne Skydeck, on the 88th floor of the Eureka Tower, where you can take in breathtaking views of the city and its surrounds through floor to ceiling windows. If you don’t have a head for heights, maybe its best to leave this one out.

Day trips

Want to go further afield? There are day trips galore and we can’t wait to introduce you to some of them.

Winery tours

Our winery tours are firm favourites with many of our customers. We can transport groups of up to 11 people in the style and comfort of our maxi cabs to wineries of your choice. Enjoy cellar door tastings and sharing platters of the best local produce. And when you’re ready to leave, we’ll carefully load your purchased boxes of wine and drive you back while you relax and chat about the great time you had.

Puffing Billy

Our iconic steam train, Puffing Billy, winds its way through the Dandenong Ranges, past fern gullies and beneath towering Mountain Ash trees. Travel from Belgrave to the Emerald Lake or Gembrook and return. Sit with your feet hanging out the windows as all the locals do.

We’ll transport you and your family in a supremely spacious and plush maxi cab to Belgrave to catch Puffing Billy. Your kids will be enchanted with the plucky little steam train that’s maintained and run by volunteer staff.

The Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road is one of the most attractive coastal rides in the world. Discover what makes this so special while you relax back in style in a maxi cab from Maxi Cab Melbourne Airport. Starting at picturesque Torquay, you’ll see the Cape Otway Lighthouse, the 12 Apostles (sadly now only seven are left) and visit Warrnambool, known as Australia’s southern right whale nursery. Between June and September, you could see whales coming to within 100 metres of the shore.

Sovereign Hill Ballarat

A nationally acclaimed tourist attraction, Sovereign Hill is an open-air museum, depicting Ballarat’s first ten years after the discovery of gold there in 1851. With a list of activities available from gold panning, to bowling, confectionery demonstrations, you and your family or a tourist group will experience a bygone age, up close and personal. Travelling there and back in the comfort of a relaxing maxi cab will be the icing on your tour cake.

Transporting you
